ClearTalk Test
You will receive the test instructions document via e-mail. This document will have the Test ID (TIN) Number and PIN Number.
You begin the test by clicking the 'Start Test' button shown below. You will then enter the TIN number and PIN number when requested by the voice prompts.
The testing system will validate the TIN and PIN numbers you entered. If the information you entered is valid, the test will begin.
You will be guided by voice prompts and audio instructions during the test.
If you get disconnected during the test, you can call again to retake the test. The test will continue from the question where it got disconnected.
It is recommended that you call from a fairly quiet place and use a good working headset.
ClearTalk Test works best in Google Chrome web browser. Google Chrome is free and fast.
If you don't have Google Chrome please download it from here: https://www.google.com/chrome
- Make sure you connect a working headset to your computer and check the settings.
- Ensure that you are in a fairly quiet place.
- Ensure that the microphone of the headset is close to your mouth.
- A pre-recorded voice will guide you through the test.
- Listen to the instructions carefully.
Reporting
ClearTalk provides reports of each individual skill area and the overall score.
You will get your test report instantly after you finish taking the test.
The overall score of the test represents your ability in spoken English.
The test evaluates your ability to speak intelligibly in a neutral accent at a normal conversational pace on everyday and workplace topics.
The overall score is a weighted combination of the five sub-scores. Scores are reported in the range from 0 to 100.
